As the German song goes ” Ich hab mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren” - which translates into “I lost my Heart in Heidelberg”. The Germans of the 19th century transformed Heidelberg into mythical levels as a town of romance. The city is nestled in the former Palatinate seat of power.
