The Zugspitze at 2,962 meters (9,718 feet)  is the highest mountain in Germany. It belongs to the “Wettersteingebirge” range in the northern Alps and is a border mountain between Germany and Austria.

 

       
Short description:      
 

09:00 a.m. Departure from Ulm and journey to Garmisch

11:30 a.m. Round trip with the cable railway to the top of the Zugspitze

01:30 p.m. Lunch in the summit’s panoramic restaurant

03:30 p.m. Journey to the Cloister (Monastery) of Ettal and a guided tour by the minster to include the distillery museum with a tasting

06:30 p.m. Departure to Ulm

09:00 p.m. Arrival in Ulm
