Military Day
On Friday, October 2nd, military trauma will be the main theme.
Our intention is to demonstrate to you the practical aspects of military trauma management. Therefore, on a nearby military exercise area, we will demonstrate the algorithms and strategies of military rescue and emergency medicine, many of them having been adopted into civil rescue strategies already.
On the huge outdoor exercise area, our team has prepared a variety of interesting modules and events:
Special forces will perform their skills and you will watch combat rescue under “fire”.
A German Role 2 Field Hospital can be visited to give you a picture of the possibilities of military medicine on missions. Get the notion of the difficulties and pitfalls of triage in a military mass-casualty situation.
As another highlight of this afternoon, a demonstration with aircraft and vehicles will conclude this event.
Please note: since this will be an outdoor event, rain clothing and sturdy shoes are an absolute necessity. A personal ID-card or passport should be carried along, since you will enter a military area.
Included in the price is the bus shuttle as well as the participation on all displays and events. Unfortunately, there is limit to the number of persons able to attend. Therefore, prior reservation and payment is necessary. |
